there is quite a bit of junk floating around up there.
Hello; There is a lot. So much so that at some point in the future we may be essentially trapped on earth. As the many thousands of space junk in stable orbits collide with each other they make more space junk. For decades we have been launching lots of stuff with no future thought of the consequences. If I recall correctly to reach earth orbit things need to be boosted to 17,000 MPH or so. So even small stuff going that fast can take out satellites and space stations.
the brains out there would be able to nail the time better.

Hello; I think the problem may be that the orbit is decaying as it encounters drag from the thin upper atmosphere. That upper atmosphere is in flux and it is hard to predict just when the atmospheric drag will be more or less intense.

Any South africans out there? Interested to hear the reaction over there to the Aussie cricket scandal, been over a week and still headline story here! Hendre Hendre ?

Who summons me?

Oh man, lot's of chatter about it. Memes, discussions and jokes all round

Are people as outraged there? Here everyone's gone crazy and turned on them big time. I'm not a big cricket fan but it's all we've heard about for a week. You would think they had killed someone instead of rubbing some, sandpaper on a ball.
They cried at their press conference and they reckon it's cost the captain$5 million in cash over the next year due to,all his sponsors dumping him.

The space junk is now ocean junk as it plummeted into the southern Pacific ocean.Heavenly Palace can now become a heavenly reef.

Nobody is impressed I'll say that. That's their own fault for trying to cheat

Oh yeah? How so?....the guy in the link basically said that the junk could land anywhere in the country..... from Texas to New York lol.
If in the 70's they calculated two Voyagers to 'bounce' off of planets, I would think they could track something in our orbit.

As you said earlier it's in the pacific.

Yeah...nowhere near Texas or New York.It would appear that their tracking abilities are not much better now than they were in the seventies.

Did you guys ever read that threat assessment thing I posted. The fears they had involving space was interesting
