That whole set up is peculiar to me. There's like French doors leading out onto a veranda, with a small porch plonked on too!
If that strange appendage was on the inside, then it would be a vestibule in blighty.
If the floors could stand the weight, and the climate was favourable, that would be a nice area for a couple of tanks.

I snapped this photo a few months ago and meant to post it back when I was talking about outdoor vestibules.I suspect that the "French doors" is actually the window in the front room.I was wondering which side of the vestibule has the entry door?
The front part. Zoom in and you can clearly see the hinges and handle. Yeah, I may be mistaken looking at it more closely, that may well be a window. I thought they were full length, as in "french doors".
