Well in the name of justice, the San Francisco fathers have decided that low income people will get traffic fines reduced by 50%, and homeless people will get their traffic fines reduced by 80%.
They must feel so magnanimous, not understanding that any homeless person who owns a car will get the heck out of San Francisco. If you’ve ever bought gasoline there you know it’s a dollar more than anywhere else in California, and two dollars more than nearly anywhere else in the nation.
I can’t see homeless people hanging around in San Francisco so they can pay seven dollars a gallon. And of course you can’t afford to park a car there, so everybody keeps driving.
