Official Petsmart Kamfa Flowerhorn Thread

They are being sold as Red Texas so you should have bought them as such. If you bring up the fact they are flowerhorn they might not sell them to you as Red Texas even though by store policy they are supposed to. All Petsmart prices are essentially the same at every store, they should cost $6.99.

Yes i understand dont ask, lol but my petsmarts dont even have red texas lables, just regular texas, and it was wierd they had all the flowerhorn in a seperated "showpiece tank" i guess you can call it. So it was whatever, but i did manage to get this fish( i dont know what it is, my 1st guess was a viejah??) lables as a texas cichlid for 6.99$ sorry about the quality of pic and for posting it in kamfa thread..... Will repost in new thread tomorrow with better pics.

a little update on my guy. moved the other FH to thier own tanks. he gets along awsome with the festae for now did final seal on my ~300g system so will have alot more room soon.

Mine looks exactly like that just smaller but mean attacks my little red terrors and he's only a half inch bigger . Good lookin kamafa .

This guy is starting to develop more pearling and color. Camera isn't picking up its true color.

Grabbed another one, this one had an awesome amount of red on the body. This will be my last one I pick up. From here on out it will be growout for the 3 I have.

Bad picture and new tank so it doesn't look as nice as in the store.

So I'm back in the game with these itty bitty babies. Both are showing potential, one was pearls above it's eyes on both sides of the face. The other is showing pearling on the body.

Got him(Simon) and two other smaller ones at Petsmart. They were labeled red Texas cichlids. The fact that their eyes are white makes me wonder maybe they aren't flowerhorns. What do you guys think?
