Pink is perking up some more, getting quite an attitude finally and digging a lot in his tank too. He likes to attack the bubbles floating on the water's surface that happen where the filter flows out.

Im a little late but wanted to share what 6.99 got me. please shed some light on what mix this is I believe sysnpillum and maybe some sort of flowerhornI went back to my petsmart the day after they got a new shipment of fish in, and picked up the last 2 little "red texas" they had, out of the 5 i got these 2 are the smallest at about 1 inch,

So I bought one of this guy about 3 months ago I've been following the thred for a while and by some chance the saposed rt/ kamafa mated with my silk fh and I can only wonder what they are going to look like I didn't do this by choice it just happened I woke up today and there they were.

Both of these were in the red texas tank but sold to me as jack dempsey's. I've had the larger for about a month and it's about 3 inches. The other is about an inch and I just picked it up this weekend.

Couple update pics on my PK. It's starting to fade. Starting to get some nice bright orange on the gill plates and right by its tail.
