The other day I sprayed the back of my PK's tank with black Plastidip, and his colors/bars came out like crazy!
That plus NLS is the best advice I give to PK owners!
Thank you! Yeah in a dark backdrop mine turns dark green with bars haha. Changes colors by mood. NLS is what I've been feeding him, that and shrimp.

they vary expensive! Most of them are low quality, I got lucky and petsmart had a decent one(very good for a petsmart) and I didn't overpay too much considering its qulity. Mine has only grown bput an inch since i got it, i estimated it would be 4-6 inches by know and it is only like 3 inches. my Fh is my avatar. The avatar pic is kinda old so i should get a new pic of my FH for my avater.
