Should NOT be allowed to carry fish anymore if they can't take care of them. I wanted to steal a little baby ablino oscar from here but I couldn't. I have no business having an oscar, but I wanted to save him. He was probably the best looking fish out of all of them. Half of their tanks are dry and have been for months.

When we went tonight they must have gotten a new shipment in of some fish. Including, about 10 tiny SKINNY ICH infested clown loaches (I've had 4 that I lost to a horrible bout of Ich and I actually cried), 1 blind gourami, not to mention the other gourami's in the tank that had horrible fin rot. And in pretty much each thank there was 1-2 dead plecos or other kinds of fish. They had the tiniest baby parrot cichlids as you can see in the photos, 1 of which was dead and covered in fungus. . . Needless to say I was pretty disgusted.

Here they will come in diseased, tanks are dirty with fish poo covering the bottom; and sometimes even floating dead fish left all day, not to mention the fish being mixed (Gouramis with African cichlids) in the wrong tanks......its inhumane and ridiculus. I complained once and got a condescending attitude from the weekend night supervisor like I was wasting his time!

Sighs, again. I was just posting MY feelings on what I saw. I'm not asking for people to agree with me about ANYTHING. I'm very new to this site and I really don't have time to read thru all of the threads that are about this subject. Lol.
I agree with you and believe a pet fish site IS the place to post about this.....if people dont like what your writing THEY dont have to read it!!!!!!

That's so terrible. I really wish there was something that could be done about it here. Maybe I'll just complain every time I go in. I don't care what they say back, I have A.D.D so I'll just trail off into something else and ignore what they have to say back. Lol. I really wish I could steal them and take care of them.

I have this sick habit of saying "I'll take that one" and pointing to a disgusting dead fish at the bottom of the tank. Not at Walmart, just at any LFS.

They keep them there for inventory purposes, when you could just scoop it and count carcasses later.

Hahaha, it's not a sick habit if you're a fish keeper and care about the fish. Lol. When I was looking at the tanks in those photos I posted on here, a little kid came up to the tank and said "Oh I want a fish Dad!" And I said, "you don't want those, they're all sick and will die." Lol. Ooopppssss

i was at wal mart yesterday getting medicine, which is near the aquatic center, i saw someone cleaning out the tanks! i was shocked

lmao, this isn't the remodeled one. it's the lame blue background, random mix substrate stuff that everyone's already use to seeing
