Oscars at Fish Story

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A great peer sent us a rescue oscar bought from TUIC a year ago, a wild caught Astronotus species Jurua, Rio Caqueta, 6 inches, allegedly a male. Thank you, Shane Hybridfish7 Hybridfish7 ! Shane's thread on the fish: https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/astronotus-sp-jurua-rio-caqueta.749734/

Thanks so much again for taking him. I'm glad he made it, and I'm glad to see him doing well in his new tank. I look forward to watching him grow with you.

Lol, I rarely have access to the kind of internet service that allows me to easily watch your videos, Viktor...but this morning while in a doctor's waiting room I did. So, of all the cool videos you post...I somehow found myself watching one about Oscars! :) Common as stink, but still one of the most beautiful, interesting and entertaining fish we keep.

I enjoyed watching that last one, where the big Oscars were moved from the small tank in the living room...into one of your tanks full of bigger monsters. They went from being the Big Fish in a Small Pond...to just another couple of fish...

I could imagine them looking around their spacious new digs and all those other fish, and thinking "OMG...am I in Heaven...or Hell...?" :)
