  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hahaha, this is what happens when you wing it and don't measure three times. So far I made some carts and was thinking about making a cat box and some chairs or something.

Have you tested if your sump has the capacity to hold all the tank water if you loose power or pump failure? It seams like your returns are very low? It's possible they will syphon back through your pump and over flow your sump? Just a thought, and your cabinetry is awesome! I love the look of the doors fitting perfectly in the openings like that! Outstanding!

Yes, I turn off the power each time we do a water change. The angle of the returns does not affect it. It's probably because of the durso pipes in the overflows and also have a one way check valve after the pump so water does not flow back. I'll be explaining why we wanted flush doors and why the door edges are black in the next coming weeks when we finish the design.

Just smelt? Just wondering because if I ever did get a platinum fish would like to know my options for their diet. Can any form of pellets be offered? Or do all pellets have color enhancers? Hehe soo many questions....

We tried all types of pellets and sticks that has very little color enhancers. Those green or brown wheat ones. He wouldn't eat it. Tried starving him for almost a week too. The Hikari sticks seemed to make the fins pink. We will be trying Tilapia and crickets next but I don't really want the crickets because of the noise.

Very well done blkdrgn!!! hats off to you an a very classy build. A suggestion for you, the plumbing coming from the durso's to the top of the sump is softline that over time tends to kink/reduce flow. I just replaced mine on my 120 gallon and had to use the flex hoes.
