OUTDOOR POND, ALL PIC'S

Here's mine. It was super easy to build. Just 8x8 made of landscape timbers, and the bog filter in kind of an odd shaped triangle. Water is pumped up through the gravel so I never have to water the plants. I love it because I don't have to do anything but feed the fish :)

(sorry about my dog's super reflective collar!)
This is when the plants were first starting to grow in well. They finally got looking really nice, then the hurricane kind of leveled it all :irked:

I love the similar build that was posted earlier with the two seperate areas. I have a side yard on my house and I really want to build a bigger pond there so I don't have to mow anymore ;) I really don't have the time or the funds to get into it now, but it's always fun to plan. I'd love to do one that's dug into the ground, with some nice landscaping and waterfalls built it (maybe a bridge and sitting area too!) but I'm not sure how well that woudl work with all the rain and flooding we can get here in Houston.

Here is mine.. a 300g kiddie pool with small goldfish and a jerry-rigged AC 110. Temporary until we build the actual one in a few years. This is from the summer and it has been taken down for the winter (you would need a 15 foot deep dugout here to overwinter anything...)

Enjoy! :D

Here is mine, 637 gallons of awesome cheapness.

How big? My 600G pond cost me about $2500 to build on my own -
see - www.interall.co.il/pond.html for complete pricing details
(near the end of the page is a table).
