It is 800 gal. but in about a couple of months it will be 2000 gal. for I am extending the existing pond. I use a tetra 1500 UV filter and also combine PondCare Pond-Zyme with barley......its a heavy duty pond cleaner. The barley flakes really work to keep the pond clean and the tubes and pipes that the water flows through too. Also occasionally I will scrub any algae I see that is building up and add more of the Pond-Zyme. This usually keeps it really clear.

Thanks. I will order 1lb of Pondzyme for delivery in June and see how it works with my pond. I am always looking for things that work.
But if you add so much barley flakes, don't they get stuck in the filter and then the filter has to be cleaned every 3-4 days?

See with the Pond-Zyme it is only one scoop for every 100 gal. so you don't really add that much and you add it every two weeks. I clean the sponges in my filter once a week but only clean the filter out once a month so it also stays clean that way too. hope this helps.
