Finished using the 75g as a growout for some midas and it was sitting all empty so...

My buddy who took the extra grow out midas happened to have some fry available. 9 hungry mouths to feed.

Inside the tank, settling in.
624EBAD2-F2BC-45DA-8965-E95858F4CC1B.pngPlan is to grow them out and keep one for the 75. This will be a tough call, not sure if I want to find a female keeper because they are so colorful or to keep a male. I could keep that female for the 75 and keep a male to put into the 300... lol

Good sign that they would eat the same day they were moved. Fed a little bit of tetra crisps and later they got a little bit of bloodworms. They are a bit small for the bloodworms but they figured it out, lol.

Ordered some smaller higher quality food for them but will use the crisps in the meantime.

The food I had on hand for these little guys was a bit of a challenge for them. Tetra crisps turned out to be a bit big and they didnt seem to like it. So I found Hikari micro pellets at the store and brought that home. Turned out it was the perfect size for these fry and readily accepted. Now that I feel like I have a food item that works for them, Im feeling a bit better about taking on such small fry. I also gave then some frozen bloodworms which are huge for them but they got them down, lol.

I think these guys will be fun to raise out, will try and keep the updates and pics coming.
