Finished using the 75g as a growout for some midas and it was sitting all empty so...

My buddy who took the extra grow out midas happened to have some fry available. 9 hungry mouths to feed.
Largest about 5/8”, smallest about 5/16”

Inside the tank, settling in.
Plan is to grow them out and keep one for the 75. This will be a tough call, not sure if I want to find a female keeper because they are so colorful or to keep a male. I could keep that female for the 75 and keep a male to put into the 300... lol

I know, the females do look good. Thankfully they are small and Ive got months to decide.

Good sign that they would eat the same day they were moved. Fed a little bit of tetra crisps and later they got a little bit of bloodworms. They are a bit small for the bloodworms but they figured it out, lol.

Ordered some smaller higher quality food for them but will use the crisps in the meantime.

The food I had on hand for these little guys was a bit of a challenge for them. Tetra crisps turned out to be a bit big and they didnt seem to like it. So I found Hikari micro pellets at the store and brought that home. Turned out it was the perfect size for these fry and readily accepted. Now that I feel like I have a food item that works for them, Im feeling a bit better about taking on such small fry. I also gave then some frozen bloodworms which are huge for them but they got them down, lol.

I think these guys will be fun to raise out, will try and keep the updates and pics coming.

Lost one, believe it was the littlest. Found it stuck on the AC110 intake tube. Head count came out to 7, which means another is missing somewhere.
