very interesting....im still trying to wrap my mind around this hybrid....but I can definitely see the traits of each in the more recent pictures....the first pics almost looked like a young columbian shark...lol.. anyways, keep us updated!!

My guess is the female was induced so she could lay eggs & the male stimulated to fertilize them. But the alle may not align right to allow these fish to reach the huge sizes of either parent species I guess this thread will help keep us posted.

Unfortunatly my guess would be, due to hybrid vigor, this guy MIGHT get bigger than either parent.
