I have yet to see a hybrid between two large catfish not grow large itself. Even the Niger x TSN gets huge.

Didn't even know there they hybridized oxydoras and pseodoplatystoma already...What catfish haven't they hybridized! lol. Well i suppose brachyplatystomas haven't hybridized with anything seeing as they can't breed those in captivity.
