ty very much.. when you say only drop a few* so they get used to being spot fed.. do you mean the brine shrimp or if I feed more feeders... I just bought some frozen silverside shiners.. thinking since its an actual minnow.. might be more enticing

You can also check out the King of DIY’s videos. He had a lionfish that was giving him the same trouble. He had to feed it live fish but then got it to eat frozen tilapia by tying it to a string and wigging it in front of the fish’s face, or something like that.

Has there been any progress here?

yes, the bass went nuts over some goldfish a couple of weeks ago. i got desperate for it to eat ANYTHING. surprisingly after that feeding it started taking jumbo freeze-dried krill, freeze dried shrimp, meal worms and even the occasional pellet (it isn't always interested in the latter and sometimes spits them out).
