Pics of Definite Blue Acara FEMALE

Two of my males are probably close to 6 inches probably more like 5.5 inches. The bigger female is about 4.5 inches. But the males are thick.
This is very close to what I have....the picture "caption" says Aquidens pulcher, but who knows what u get when you type in images....It showed all types of stuff that wasn't even close to an Acara:

The only difference is these guys lack the irregular-shaped black stripe that runs parallel to the lateral line and the small black spot at the base of the tail.

Closest one I could find so far, BUT this shot lacks the black stripe through the eye:

It has the body shape of an acara.
Yes, but as I am new to Earth-eaters I am also understanding it has the body-shape of some of the oddball Earth-eaters as well.....I am simply hoping the colors and marking will be enough to distinguish.

how did you do all those tags? did you have to type each on manually or is there a function that allows to easily do multiple tags like that?

well thats some dedication (and relentlessness) on your part haha.

I've never kept eb acaras or ever even looked into keeping them so i'm useless here.

LMAO....manually :( Calling out the whole crew HAHA

I'm sure there IS a function, but I'm not PC-savy enough to know it

You mad man lol :D

I'd go by the fins, female finds tend to be rounder and stubbier; or, if you could net the fish, take a pic of the underside, will allow venting :)

I have never kept a blue acara. But, looking in Guide to Cichlids by David E. Boruchowitz the pic you posted resembles a Cichlasoma Boliviense.
