Pics of Definite Blue Acara FEMALE

Yeah I have very little experience but a rounder area between the vent and end of the anal fin is how I'd distinguish them in my experience
There are a few varieties of acaras that I see sold as "blue acaras" (besides electrics). One is the type I keep. This pic u found and posted looks like the other. Here is my male blue acara.
Here is a pic I found on the Web of a pair. Male on left, female on right. The females are usually pretty drab compared to the males and lack the orange stripe.
And here is a pic i found of a female blue acara of the second type... which looks like the one you are describing.
The two types look nothing alike to me but are both "blue acaras".
I'd love to be of some help, but I hate cichlids and the closest thing I have in my tanks are native sunfish hahaha. Sorry brah, hit me up when you got a poly/NA native/African species question lol
