The most commonly available species of sleeper gobies (family Eleotridae) are jade gobies (Dormitator maculatus), purple spotted gobies/gudgeons (Mogurnda mogurnda), marbled sleepers (Oxyeleotris marmorata), and water cows (Eleotris picta).
well, they both swim around normal, like when i put food in they race the sunfish and shiners to the food, then the kinda float at angle, sightly more than what the picts show.
yes they are sleepers for a reason and generally move about slowly.
the big sleeper (sleepy cod) is very cool as i used to ahve one and was really cool they get to about 50 cm and eat anything!
most species are pretty lazy.
but there are some species that are active.
my butis butis pretty much lazes around upside down or sideways all day.
but its cool to watch him eat.
