Pink convict cichlid

Cold water changes. Feed heavy fatty foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp.

I have a whole mess of "pink" Convicts. Sexing the females (orange belly color)...is not nearly as easy as it is with the dark-striped Convicts. I currently have a breeding pair of pink Convicts (with a mess of fry)...and I would have never guessed that the female was a female (no orange belly color).

With pinks the best time to sex them is they are in heat. My calico female has orange on 80% of her body but its more visible when she was getting ready to lay eggs

Usually within 2 weeks does it take me to bond and spawn a pair.......

Cold water change???????????????The fish come from tropical water ranging from high 60's to low 80's..........The average temp should always be set at 78-80 degrees..............
