Piranha vs large Cichlid

The Piranha will go through the Jags mouth like a hot knife through butter. I've seen this happen to a big Midas Cichlid. It's an absolute no brainer. There's just no contest here. You're comparing apples to oranges. Don't allow this to happen. If the Jag was a tyrant he's gona look pretty sad trying to eat without a mouth. And if you think Piranhas can't do this cause they're not fighting fish like Cichlids then you've never kept them. Piranhas fight the same way Cihlids do that's why their heads are armor plated. Something Cichlids lack.
Ya on top of armour they also have an almost perfectly flat head so they are great to just chomp food and just demolish almost anything that is within 5" of them

Interesting... piranhas are usualy pretty skittish, so in a "aggression war" I think the chichlid would win, but piranhas are known fin nippers and test biters, but if the p was hungry enough it could do some damage that the other fish may not be able to survive in the long run. So it could probably go either way.
