I guess my guy just needs to settle in a bit more. He hits everything, but actualy eats VERY little. I've tried silversides, Tilapia, Feeders. He just hits them, and spits them out. Makes a mess of everything. I never had this issue with my other Aimara.

I have the same behaviour with my smaller aimara. I moved him into a much larger tank. I can tell he is nervous. Eats but not as well as he did in a smaller tank. So I think yours just needs to settle in

Here is a 16" Hoplias Malabaricus in a comm tank. Eats like a pig.

Here in a temporary holding tank before I placed him in my 375g monster comm tank

Well my silver was with my black wolf for a few month...
Nothing happen so 1 day they start fighting.. Should be the aro..
So last min no other tank, and I throw it in...
Compare to the price I paid for a silver and black,
I do not want to loose my black... The fight between aimara can consider a draw..
