Got a chance to work more on the tank today. For anyone who's interested. Going to be ready for fiber glass this weekend. I doubled up 3/4 ply givin me 1.5" thick. Should be gob tons, plus the glass will give it strength also. Will have no corner post its just there for now.

Got the fiberglass for this weekend. Will get it all done tomorrow. Now will need to find some water proofing paint/ rubber pond paint. Anyone have any suggestions. Lowe's does not have. Going to try a local pool dealer Monday when there open for maybe some black pool paint.

Why yes i think it would. To bad the Home depot that was around went under:cry::cry::cry: Looks like you can only order it online anyways.
Was also told by Greenterrer that i could use fiberglass and buy a tint to make it black. I have it all sanded down just anxiously waiting for the material to finish it.:nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly:

Please forgive my ignorance as I'm a noob to this forum (this being my first post actually), but wouldn't something like this work?

Will probably have to order that on net right. Lowes or someone wont carry or be able to get will they??

Found this on net. Think it may work and reasonably priced. http://www.sanitred.com/lrbqualities.htm
No, sanitred has been tried with horrible results.

You'd have to call Permadri to see if there's a distributor near you. www.permadri.com

http://usicoatings.com/pondcoat.htm is one that I was just told about.

Other than pond coat, I'd recommend Ames Research Blue Max. It was the product I was going to to use before I told about Pond Coat.
