Ok finally got to do some more to the porject this weekend. I waited for two weeks on fiberglass resin and some dye. Put another layer of glass in and here she is. This time i took out the light so photo turned out a lil better. I add 4 more 2x4's on corners I'm gonna put more and diagonal braces but ran out of 2x4's and screws. So will have to wait for another day now. Fiberglass smell is so strong down there right now it burns the eyes. Will have to give it a couple of days to make it workable down there again.

Gross,

Looks good, I wish I was getting more done on my monster. I was told I had to get the 20 high that is sitting at the end of our kitchen counter running b4 I can start the monster. Should be done with that this week. My wife has learned how to "motivate" me.

Keep it up.

LOL aint that the truth for all of us.

I have figured out what im gonna use to run my tank today and measured the opening for the glass so i can get it ordered.
Gonna run RIO 26HF=abouts 1455gph @ 5ft X 2 for total of 2910gph for a 7.4 turnover for a 389 gallon tank.
Run 2- 1.25pvc drains at 3,000 gph max

I figured on running two suctions for displacement of debree from tank one abouts 2-3ft in from inlet side and other probably 2-3ft from end.

Was figuring on runnin both the returns from pump about 2/3 way up the tank so that i can do water changes from there that way also when pumps are turned off. Unless anyone has any other suggestions to run by me.

Also added extra bracing on my stand but dont have pictures yet.

Looks good so far. Now hurry up and get that glass in the tank, so you wait for that silicone to cure.

Lookin good. Gonna cost a fortune though to use that silicone unless you can buy it in bulk. The GE stuff works good. Preeswee so far though.
