Yeah there is a hot and cold pipes that run beside the tank to upstairs. Just gonna T into it with some spickets to fill the tank. We have well water here not city so there is not harsh chemicals to clean the water like city water. Have had it tested right out of the tap and is perfectly safe.

Just be careful with well water. Sometimes it needs to be degassed before use. A friend has well water and the pH out of the tap is 5.5, but once degassed it goes up to 7.6. He was killing a bunch of fish putting the water directly in the tank. Just feed it into your sump through your bio media before it enters the tank. That should be enough to be safe with it.

I filled it up about 4.5 inches let it set for 20 min and found a couple small leaks. I resealed the lower window and giving it another go today. Had like two small pin head holes in silicone in two spots

Ok its been forever since i have been able to post. Been busy at work and working on basement in between. Hard to tell but tank is full of water in picture. Put check valves in today so no water returns through the pump lines. Soon as all the hammering and sawing is all done will be able to start getting the tank adjusted in place. Then start to cycle the tank.
