Ply tank build

Well good and bad news. I got my bulk heads today. Even though i asked the guy if they were long enough to fit through a 1.5" wall he said "yea you'll have plenty". Well guess what. There to short!!! Gonna have to grind some wall thickness away to get them to screw on "growl snarel" :(

That sucks.......... Know it would't look so great but you cant just plug any holes cut with ply and reseal and recut new holes?

So far so good Gross! I want to use the two- glass side plan when I decide to construct my own tank. How long was the basement unworkable after fiberglassing the tank?

Good luck with those bulkheads.

A good day before you could go down without your eyes burning. If it was better ventilated probbably would of been sooner. After the first day just smelled like glass. Took about a week and half to get smell out of whole house. Not to bad.

Return them and order from www.FlexPvc.com. The ones I bought go through 2" thick walls.
