Plywood tank-practice drylok on OSB

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Give it a few weeks, drain it and check every side etc. If no leaks, then your set. BUT imo I would like to see you test it out on a LARGE tank. Im still iffy about that since the guy built a 150gallon and there was alot more pressure going on.

Do you guys think a 1/4 inch piece of acrylic 24x18 braced the crap of, like 20x14 viewing area, will work?i dont care if it bows lol.

Also, how do i cut hardiboard?how does a dry diamond blade on a grinder sound?

Ah,ok thats what i plan to do.Does it take much material off the hardiboard?

hardi board the same as durock(cement board)? If so then you will loose whatever material the grinder takes away. This stuff smells amazing (imo) and I must smell it all the time when I am in home depot or putting it in a bathroom or floor. Cut it as far away from your house as possible and hope the wind doesnt blow into your neighbors house. That dust is NASTY. Wear a mask to.

got a 29 gallon for free, gonna occupy me a while (150 gallon will have to wait)
