Progress is slizoo!! I got all the prep work done for the glassing(sanding/cleaning). I rounded the edges out of the viewing window, looks sharp.

I was thinking about making quarter circles out of the plywood to make the viewing window look oval but im not sure yet. I should of thought of that before i cut it square. I think it will look pretty sweet if i do do that, just an idea.

Waiting on the roller!!!
(Wet/dry)plans
Also i was thinking. I have an ole 29 gallon sitting around. Any one think thats okay for a 180? bio media compartment wise. Ill squeeze every little space i can get out of it for the bio chamber. Maybe leave 5-7" for the pump. Also i was just going to pick one of those pumps up from harbor freight. They run at 1500gph max(somewhere around there) So i think i should be okay if i take that route. If i can find a cheap 55, ill use that for a wet/dry, but if not then the 29

Of course this filter has more biomedia in it now, but this was the method i was going to use for the 29. But to make things interesting and a little different i could go with the bio tower method. Theres undless ideas with using rubbermaid or 5gallon bucket containers.

( this is my filter on my 90 i made ) an older pic of when i first set it up..

Just got a partime job at ups!! woohoo. current job doesnt have crap for benifits
