And definitely make sure you have as few holes in the lid as possible because they are escape artists and I found one up the hard way it's a sad day for me guys I lost a rope  go can I make sure the other two don't escape? I have twin hob filters so I have to have openings in the canopy
Sorry to hear that. They are deffinately good at getting into or should I say out of small places. Go to lowes or hd and get a plastic mesh called gutter guard its sold in a roll. Its about 6" wide and the roll is probably 12' long or so. Its pretty cheep too maybe $10 at most. Cover the back opening of the canopy with that. The output of your hobs should flow right through it. Its what I put on the back of my canopy. That stopped them from being on the floor. My other issue was my overflows. For those I made acrylic lids. I had a couple ropes go for a ride down the overflows when I first got them, luckily they healed from the minor injuries they recieved. They are sneaky but not unmanageable. It does take a little more precaution then say a cichlid....lol.

Amazing Looking!
Yeah too bad they went rouge. They were quite the pair. They are currently at one of my lfs once they killed my friends lj (think it was ansorgii coulda been a lap) he didnt want them anymore. They actually have a decent price tag on them too. Trying to sell them as a pair. I think they are both female though. Should probably split them up.

So would I put it under the hob? And let the water run through the mesh?

Here's my Del just because she came out during a water change. She's about 6 inches. I got her in September. The two younger sens are catching up to her in size though, because she only eats when I drop food right in front of her face, and even then she'll only eat the omega one pellets. She also normally only comes out at night when the lights have been off for a while. I think she has anxiety.20181117_114510.jpg
