My 15 gal mess. Basically stays at home and plants go ham, as do the shrimp. Note the right rock is entirely coated in Buce

Yeah, my plants grow like weeds. That tank is so stable and well balanced. All I do is a 30% WC once a week and dose with basic ferts.

Some planted tanks just "work"

I put almost no effort into that tank but my bucephalandra have become monstrosities in 1.5 years. I put maybe 6 crypts into that tank and goodness knows how many there are. Micro sword runners went to the back and over to the front again. Hygrophila pinnitafida, a notoriously picky plant, is going ham. Last year I pulled a 2-fist size clump of moss out with algae, and I still have it overrunning the tank. I only add macros like once a month, It's crazy.

@Krismo, you Need to enter the Channa tank or the Angelfish one in TOTM. They are beautiful! I love your tank @Hendre! Are mods aloud to enter in POTM?
