I am by far new to this but have big plans! Here is my first tank while my fish grow. Next step is a 300 gal planted and the move up to a built wall tank.... Nothing to compare with whats on here but what do you think? I only have one live plant but this one is the most important! Its the plant that made me decide to go with a fully planted tank!

Great start, but that one plant you have there is actually not a fully submersible plant. It'll rot away in a few weeks.

Can i pull it from the drift wood and plant it? I would hate for it to die

My 20 gallon planted got too thick, so I moved it into my recently emptied 40 gallon. It looked a little sparse for the fisrt week, but at week 3 it's starting to fill in nicely.
