80cm, 4kg Yellow Tail Kingfish, caught off the rocks. The Tubes, Jervis Bay

The bigger fish is actually my friends fish he caught a few years back. It was a 8.5 lbs and 25 inch long large mouth bass. The other pic is of me with a 6 pound large mouth.

That's a fat mirror carp skin. Do you have any experience with carp fishing in rivers?

We have commons here in the river, but their very elusive (at least when it comes to biting on my hook anyway), but the dam/pond carp seam much easier to catch.
