@ THECHIEF. Hi do you catch alot of sharks in your area and do you release them back in to the ocean?
hows it going yeah ive caught a few good sized sharks down here mostly off the piers right where people are swimming! (crazy ass people!) and ive caught some out on my boat as well for the most part i release the shark unharmed by either using a rope net or beaching it but this particular day i had only rope gaffs at my disposal and the water was too crowded with swimmers and honestly i was hungry for some thresher steaks haha im more fond of sea bass fishing (spotties, sand, calico) but i get some sharking days in also for the most part i release 95% of my fish only a few species of fish ill keep and it still depend on if i can transport it home (i am a very mobile type of fisherman, i dont like sitting in one spot i move around alot all day so no coolers or nothing haha) ive caught a few sharks out on the boat bigger then the thresher and a hell of alot meaner (macos) but no camera and i released it so yeah if you have any other questions feel free to ask :D

what i usually do and learned this from a guy down here is you cast out a big ass weight and then get your bait on another line and put it on a swivel and attach it to main line and slide the live mac down the live so it swims freely from the surface down to the weight and where are you from im not to sure where port shepstone is
