POST YOUR HIGHEST QUALITY MARBLED MOTOROS!!!

I agree that cut with something else would be perfectly fine but that is not what "straight" RO suggests (if he meant cut with other then should have been clear on such an important point, surely?)

I actualy believe in KISS and would not alter the PH no matter what as adjusting the PH is too problematic at water change time. I was just curious that such an big isssue was not picked up and discussed as it made me wonder if I was missing something.

My new set up will have auto timed bi daily small water changes as I am plumbed to waste and fresh water and then larger changes at the weekend. My sump will auto top up with treated water and I am lucky that my tap water is below 5 ppm Nitrate when measured on the most expensive Nitrate test kits my lfs supplies /recommended. Basic tablet kits read 0

I will also run a nitra ghost and ion exchange resin in the sump as I strongly believe that Nitrate is a bigger issue and killer than the hobby lets on and I want 20 ppm or less as my target.

Thanks for the reply and sorry to take the thread off topic.:screwy:

it all depends on what your local water is at. just call them and find out. I use straight RO not half tap half ro and have no problems. I use it for breeding angels, for the dats and for the rays and no problems....

ANYHOW....MORE PICS PLS as this thread is all about pics.

All depends on what you like. Just like a woman. What appeals to one person may not appeal to another.

Some people look primarely at the dots, which yours appear to have high quality markings. To others the actual marbling (black lines between the dots) may be just as if not more appealing then the spots. I like unbroken marbling lines that are pitch black as if they were drawn on with a sharpie. From this criteria the female is MUCH more desirable then the male.

Strickly eye of the beholder. Not suprising that most owners think thier own are the best looking for if they didn't appeal to them, they wouldn't have bought them. Opinions are like arse holes, everyone has one and many times they don't agree.

I really wish that it was easy to just pair them up and get pups. :irked:

Thanks Laosyfish...

Really?!?

This is not what this thread is about. If you guys have questions about RO, Price of Pups, Quality of Pups etc., please just start another thread in the Stingray forum, or post on DB's original thread which actually sparked this one (for JUST pictures) as it has great informational content.

This is the "Stingray media lounge" so getting "back on track" would actually mean posting more pics of marbles. This thread is about pictures of marble motoros. A side conversation is cool now and then but please don't use this thread to make additional queries which has proclivities to spar into elaborate discussions.

In short, kindly please refrain from derailing this thread.

Now...to really get back on track...MORE PICS PLEASE:D:D:D:popcorn:

Thanks,
LJ the OP
