If you can, I think you still have time, do a reseal on the entire tank, and do a thorough clean up as well. From what we see, the tank is not in that bad shape to go for a new one. And even if you go for a new one, that need good amount of time and effort to get to your current state - that is my view.
Also, pls ensure that the issue you are facing is calcium deposit. sometimes when the sticker film is not applied properly, you will see similar patches which looks bad. If its still calcium, you need a thorough clean with vinegar and blade, if its sticker you need a new one there done properly.
