May I ask why you are giving up? Did your fish not like it? They did not thrive?
I don't want to harm my fish.

my fish love the stuff, but in terms of colors they are not as they were with NLS...and adding the info that has been discussed in terms of nutrition, I'd rather not use it longer. My main reason for trying the food was financial, but things have gotten a little better for me, so thinking of going back to NLS

I ballance out my concerns about nutrition by making sure I supplement their diet with things like shrimp and veggies. Id be giving them this regardless of what pellet I had them on. Id say about once or twice a week I give them shrimp and once a twice a week they get steamed veggies. More if I happen to be eating veggies. I also occassionally skip days of feeding entirely.

My Pleco has started doing something new since I began using this food. he now goes to the top and rounds up the floating pellets. He then either pushes them into the corner and eats them or floats vertical in the tank eating one pellet at a time. Remind me of a manatee feeding on lettuce at sea world. Ive never seen a pleco do this. has anyone else? Until I started using this stuff he was strictly a bottom feeder. He does this with other foods too now. He has learned a new behavior, which is the really interesting part.
