Rainbows or giant danios?

Who’s ready for another mystery waiting game?

I’m really hoping for rainbows this time!

Now I do believe there maybe some giant danios mixed in, so it could be both.

My red male has been bright red orange for at least a week now in the morning/early afternoon. He has been chasing the other red and my rainbow I’m unsure of its name. Sadly he fancies the no name rainbow more then the other red.
I’m also kinda confused. I thought all of them were males. And maybe they are. Maybe all these fry are just danios and I’m mistaking male dominance displays for spawning.

It’s very possible it is them again. But with all the commotion from the rainbows I’m really hoping at least some are from them.
And these guys just seem lighter then the giant danio fry were.

Not all males get the humpy head. My guys has grown a bit this month. His favorite girl is holding out on him and driving him crazy.
The top was taken a couple days ago and the bottom was taken in November.

When I first saw cichlids with humpy heads(flowerhorns mostly) I thought it looked weird. Now I’m rather fond of them. Lol
