we went to Beijing as well, but the air was so polluted, we went collecting in more rural areas, about 4 hours west of Beijing

I love spicy food!

Learned eating it when I got my girlfriend (from south korea) and don't think I can ever go back to not spicy

Where the dishes do-able for you in terms of spiciness? Any special local recipe from there you would like to recommend (just in case you remember) ? Have some friend from China so they can explain/advise to add some stuff if it's not complete.
