A rare fish from India, cannot find the description on it, and I've not seen another one like it since, the coloration is almost like its sick or dying, but its normal!

i dont know if this right, but could it be a burramundi from australia not india? cause i had juvies that looked like that when stressed after water change

Hey Mate,

Thanks for your input. The fish I posted is not a barramundi at all, but it has been formally described as Nandus andrewi from India, it was a new species.

As for barramundi, Lates calcarifer, that fish is actually found not only in India but all along the oceanic waters of South China to South East Asia as well.

couple lbs's more. nah. That's a big boy. Or girl perhaps.
