Rare Fish pic From Rare Fish series

Was wondering the same thing as "oTorcho". How about some new pics of you're 16" elopichtys bambusa, do you keep it in cold or warm water tank?
Oh and BTW love the thread and all the pics
 
Hi I saw the fish with the big scales and here in the Ivory coast the locals call it camaroon,We have plenty big one's here but they dont want to take a lure or meat on a hook.

guessing you're talking about the atlantic tarpon, megalops atlanticus?

since you asked nicely, these pictures were taken a few months ago, I'll get some better ones after I clean the glass.
 
this is our collecting trip in China this year, I'll post what we caught later, I may have to return again later this summer for more!

The place pictured is outside of an underground river, and the main channel is a confluent of warm river water and hypogean source. Filled with gobies, loaches, and shrimps.

We met this one old man, he's 83 years old, and fishes from a rubber inner tube and he caught 10x the fish we caught in a short period of time, and he is a chain smoker!

I've had a quite a few people interested in going collecting with me. The problem is that I'm not a pro tour guide, and I do not wish to be. I don't like to plan ahead, and my trips change as we go. Its not like a Peruvian tour where the entire trip is planned out.

Kendragon, you're a good guy and if one day I do plan to bring people along, I'd be sure to invite you, it doesn't mean that you'll come back alive though : )
