my neighboor works with wood, and i suck with wood. He's been telling me he can build me a plywood tank if i had a good detailed picture. He doesn't ever trust the liquid rubber or liquid nails though. This might finally be the answer to me getting that tank we have been planning....


never knew you could get the liner to look as clean as you did. What grade did you use? Mil? Is it more of a rubber or a tarp? Must say easy to and to the point, great thread.

I'm a semi-pro with wood but a 10 year old with a bit of patience could do this! the ply is 21 mm and the pond liner is 1mm firestone.. it became cleaner than I expected

it's 20mm acrylic.. it's mounted to the front frame with tec-7, I ordered the window precise enough to almost become a natural seal with the pondliner.. I have a pretty thick seal of tec-7 silicone style to.. that was actually the easiest part..

this is really interesting man, i'm fed up with putting layers of epoxy, only for it to leak, think i have found the answer! awesome build, it was even better because when the attachments were down, no body saw it coming, it was over load on the pics in one hit. sweet!
