REACTORS- Filtration for stingrays

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No one has the biochips for sale. Maybe they were discontinued. Aquatic ecosystems is under a new .com and their biochip page/info is no longer available.

What is special about the biochip? It looks like knitting mesh with a weighted edge....

Floats around and is boiled like the K1. Harbors bio animals in between the sheets of bio film. These animals process like hundreds of times their own weight every hour or some crazy stuff like that, eating stuff up to 5 micron.

Apparently the chips aren't available anymore. Bastids. First they pull K3 now the chips?

I got chips from Aquatic Eco when I bought my K1, but just called them and they apparently don't stock them anymore.

Your cool looking contraption pictured looks to me like some sort of hybrid vortex settling chamber and bio reactor in 1, unless that's just mechanical media in the center, but it looks like water travels the perimeter then drains down through the center. A lot of the turn key radial flow separators I've seen are set up like this.

Columbia Water Garden sells the chips. They cost 4x what K1 sells for.
