well then i would have to say that mine are midas/devil hybrids cause they dont really look long or short just but then again there still babies. they do generally look pretty round. there constantly begging for food so i break down and feed them. the 4 babies in my damn grow out tank eats as much as all my fish in my 55.
yes be careful to not over feed... they act like they want it but may not need it... just feed a little bit a few times a day while they are babies..

yeah, my devil snapped in my african tank, thats why i know longer have any :grinno: she was about 5.5 or 6 inches at the time.
oh yes thats too long in there... i had mine out by 3 inches... they never hurt anybody...actually acted like an african... my green terror is still with the africans in one tank... no terror in her.. it depends on the fish...but i also never fed live food... i think that made a difference.

hey liz, how often do you feed yours?
i just recently forced myself to change from everyday to every other day... i could easily be an over feeder so that was the only way i could control me.. :D Donny could you do the list tonight.... i am in the dark and working these keys through touch.... my birds are sleeping behind me...lol i hate when someone mentions power feeding...they can only grow so big and the rest of the food is wasted and making the quality of the water unsatisfactory and that is worse then skimpy feedings...

between 3 of them and a jd i put in 10 or so medium size pellets (about 1/8") and every couple days either a thawed chunk of blood worms or brine shrimp.

better to pull him out i think... babies are babies and the less stress they have the better growing up... he a bully... but things may shift around again later when you put them back together.
