I just picked these two up yesterday from my LFS as adoptions.
They were brought into the LFS by the previous owner because they outgrew their 15gal tank. Grrr!
Orange is Male.
White is Female.
They fought a bit yesterday, but seem to be doing better today.
Male started eating frozen/thawed bloodworms today. Female wont' touch the cichlid sticks, shrip pellets, or the bloodworms yet.
Should I wait a few days to see if she'll eat, or just throw in some feeders and see if she responds? LFS said they have never eaten live b4 as they were told this by the previous owner.

Here are some nice fuzzy pics of my new guy, before he healed up. He's about 8". I think he looks to be pure midas, but I'll never know. I just moved him into his own 125 a couple of days ago, and he seems to be loving life.

this is a beautiful guy and what a great owner to give him his own 125gal tank. you bet he is a happy camper.... life is good..:D
