Red tail barracuda

Not sure why that wouldn't work. They don't seem as spastic and darty as I had guessed them to be. Plus the common red tailed Cudas are supposed to stay a bit smaller then the Panara ones.

Yes these guys are awesome given sufficient space buddy has a lone pantaniero which will come to the front of the tank (75 gallon growout) has only a fluval 406 and a 200 gph Powerhead (not much current) but almost comes up to the front whenever you walk by... Makes me want to get a few aces... Not spooked easily either

+3 - that should be enough tank for these guys. How many are you thinking to get? DB's got a beautiful school that definitely makes me wish I had more than 2 right now.
 
really cool fish. I had a group of yellow tails and one red. I did not find them too bad to break off live food. The yellows were really skidish and I lost all of them. My red is solid. Will def get more once I figure out what tank to keep them in.
 
Ok thanks guys I've seen one for sale and thought I'd better get some info first lol
