hi does any 1 know how 2 teach a rtc tsn hybrid 2 eat from a hand [mines very young 1.5inches]
Way to go on bringing up the deadthread :D

Hand feeding is usually very easy with these guys... just get them eating your food of choice then start sticking your hand i the tank and drop it closer and closer and eventually they will coem and snag it from your hands... The RTC in them makes them less skiddish but the TSN side is still there so they seem to grab and run abit more... All my RTC's are so soft at hand feeding but the Hybrids are alittle more "forcefull" most will spin away while they take the food but a couple will act really cool and just hang out waiting for more.

I only have 1 TSN that I hand feed as they are all more attackers and I hate coming in from the garage soaked in -40 weather LOL

My large hybrid (now 38") just engulfs anything I have in my hands when he's hungry. He'll take one shrimp at a time if that's all I give him, but will take a whole handfull sometimes. My rtc ate from my hand since day one. My tsn took a while, but it was much easier in a pond than in aquarium. Bass' advice is sound though.
