How is everyone doing??? I just need a little more information on the hybrid " Redtail Tiger Shovelnose Catfish" How big do they grow? Mine is 3 1/2 inches at this point.

read the info from the sticky copied to the first page of this thread, i bought mine around that size and it hit 18inches in a couple of months. You will need a very big tank or pond (1,000 gallons+)

That's dope! i had a rtc and tiger shovel nose when i first got my tank and always wondered what the off spring would look like if they bumped uglies. haha, i want!
man ijust got one these fish and he is a beauty...itry not to feed him everyday as they can go quite some time in the wild without eating...this will slow the groth a bit i feed mine once every two days..he loves everything especialy live worms from the local fishing store(the big ones....full of protein)i plan on building somewhat of an indoor river?atrium in the near future. but ill probably put him in a custom 1000 gallon next summer or winter
