Andy, I love your fish! You are one of the major reasons I decided to get back in the NW Cichlid game and whey I just upgraded to a 300. I love the videos on YouTube - please keep them up.
No idea, someone else's fish. I'd guess prolly 12+", impressive specimen for sure. It's interesting how you see so few mature males online considering it's claimed scientific maximum size. Although I've so far not seen it, one has to wonder if it's due to the claimed exceptionally aggressive behavior. Maybe not many folks keep them to full maturity as a result? This seems unlikely though considering how many mature Dovii owners there are out there. I think still my favorite all time mature male video is this guy. If there's a more recent or bigger one please share.

What I love about that video and that specimen is the proportionality of it's head/mouth size to the overall body. Yes Rosie has paired up and now has wriggler's
The female came from Ross at Odball express, the male was given to me all dark and stressed, at around 4inch. Now he's doing well coloured up nicely and is around 9inch.
Thank you Keith, in the process of moving tanks and fish around to make room for my new 7ft. When I'm finished and the fish have settled I will do a update video.
