Red Wolf

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've been searching for a black wolf all day, not much luck tho. Found one at 6" with a dodgy eye for £80 but I think I'm gonna pass on that.

Sorry slight hijack, would you guys buy this at a third of the cost of a non damaged black?
Seems to have an in active pupil and jelly missing from the right eye...

My curu ended up with a bad eye from a fight with my odoe. Didn't look bad until you looked closely at the pupil. Was still boss ate fine. Can't say it stopped him from flaring at me. So I'd say why not buy it

How's yours settling in jaws? Mine has been swimming out a lot more but runs to cover if I get close ofcourse. Better than only coming out for food. I suspect once it puts in some size it will be more comfortable to be in the open. Definitely a greedy fish. As you said yours does, it reluctantly eats infront of me lol

Well to be honest moe she may be tearing apart her tankmates as we speak lol.

Took the family on a lil vacation and will be gone for about a week. No one's feeding them.

Yeah I'm seriously holding off from buying a black atm

I would too if I were you because of your cichlids. Ik how important they are. Hoplias are much different than erythrinus in behavior. Nowhere near as scared lol. Especially once they get some size. Reason I would hold back is because I'm not sure how territorial your fish are so if it attacks the black things can go down hill. It's a thick fish so you won't see any chunks missing or anything like that but tattered find and missing scales if they were to fight. And ime there is always an initial confrontation on the new guy. Once passed that all may be well. Would just have to see.

I haven't no... Still pondering. There is a larger mala nearby at 8", seems fairly active, I'm tempted to give it a go, what you reckon.
Doesn't seem to be alot of info on mala other than most are logs lol.
