Is anyone else running these on their tanks?
I have a Rena Smart Heater in the 200W variant that if the weather changes (garage tank) it might dip just below the 5* set point of the heater and will start flashing, once this happens it STOPS heating altogether?!
If the weather gets cold, (it is 40* ambient, but the tanks are definately insulated) my 'cold water tank' (72*) dips to 70* then crashes, I caught it at 62* and added a 150watt to get it back in the range I'm after, but damn, if it gets too low it turns off?! That seems backwards to me!
