Love that its got the teardrops under both eyes and ‘flowers’ are nice and evenly spaced. It does have a weird eye pigmentation on the one side

A bit of an update. So its a bit of a tough decision at this point because it is down to two extremely good looking trimac males.

My last big trimac had problems in the 90 it was in, Im thinking something with the lighting or something would cause it to freak out. I jokingly called it my 'cursed' tank. Well the elongated trimac was in this tank and seemed quite skittish, so my buddy suggested swap trimacs in the two tanks and see if I notice anything. Well the elongated trimac seems much calmer in the other tank now. And the trimac in this darker toned 'cursed' tank now seems skittish... So there is something there the fish does not like.

Here is the elongated trimac in the lighter toned tanked.

Hmmm.... maybe move the tanks? or swap the equipment like filters lights and heaters first before moving the tanks.

Are the tanks about the same height from the floor?

No moving tanks now, lol. The 90 gallon tanks are situated on either side of a window, and hoe the sun comes around you would think the tank on the left side would be better with less light coming on on that side. Filter and heater placement is identical in both tanks, two AC110's and an Aquarium Master heater. Main difference is substrate color and driftwood.

This is an older pic but the tanks in question are on the top racks, the far left and right tanks.

Well after many months on Craigslist I was able to sell my last Trimac and can focus on my keeper. The one I sold had so much going for it, great even pattern on both sides, teardrops under both eyes and an awesome personality. But it wasnt showing the elongated look like my keeper of the catch location. The Rio Niltepic have that elongated look and my keeper displays it well. Just wish it had a touch more even markings on each side.
